The successful candidate will contribute across a broad range of strategic planning initiatives, including master planning, urban design and urban realm projects, Gateway processes, Council reporting, and strategic land use planning projects. The role suits a planner who can work independently, build team capability, and help provide continuity within a team currently undergoing restructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver strategic planning projects and master plans.
Prepare Council reports and manage Gateway Planning Proposal processes.
Provide mentoring and technical guidance to less experienced planners.
Contribute to urban design, place-making and broader strategic planning initiatives.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Council and the community.
