Our client is a growing FMCG business with exciting plans for the future, and they are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team. This is a hands-on role responsible for coordinating freight movements, managing key customer requirements and ensuring strong delivery performance across major grocery and foodservice customers.
About the role
Coordinate daily freight movements across chilled and frozen products, ensuring deliveries are booked, scheduled and collected on time.
Manage relationships with freight providers, customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and maintain strong service levels.
Take ownership of DIFOT performance, proactively identifying and resolving potential service failures.
Coordinate logistics requirements across major grocery retailers, distribution centres and foodservice customers.
Monitor freight performance, costs and service data to identify opportunities for improved reliability and cost efficiency.
Support continuous improvement across freight processes, systems, reporting and supplier performance.
About you
5+ years' experience across logistics or supply chain, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing or a high-volume environment.




Strong experience working with major Australian grocery retailers and their distribution centres, including booking windows and compliance requirements.
Experience working with foodservice distributors such as PFD, Bidfood or similar.
Confident managing freight providers, delivery issues and customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Robust systems and analytical skills, including Excel, ERP and freight/logistics platforms; experience with Primary Connect highly regarded.
A proactive and commercially minded approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to take ownership and drive issues through to resolution.
