MacPhee's Wine Cellaring Specialists is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive
Supply Chain and Inventory Coordinator
to join our Melbourne team.
This role is ideal for someone with domestic and international experience across supply chain, purchasing, inventory, imports or logistics who enjoys coordinating suppliers, shipments and stock from order placement through to warehouse receipt.

You will help coordinate the end to end supply of inventory from our local and international suppliers, ensuring purchase orders, shipments, inventory records and delivery information are accurate, current and well communicated.
The role
Based in Port Melbourne and reporting to the
Head of Supply Chain
, you will coordinate purchasing, inbound freight and inventory across a portfolio of premium products sourced from local and international suppliers.
You will raise approved purchase orders in CIN7, coordinate supplier confirmations and special orders, and maintain accurate records of outstanding and completed purchase orders.
You will manage the day to day coordination of domestic and international inbound freight, including
FCL, LCL and airfreight shipments
, working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs and logistics providers to ensure shipments progress smoothly from order placement through to warehouse delivery.
You will maintain our shipment calendar and current ETAs, coordinate delivery timing with the warehouse and proactively communicate delays, stock risks and changes to relevant teams and customers.
Working closely with our Warehouse and Finance teams, you will coordinate inbound stock receipts, ensure inventory is accurately receipted into CIN7 and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and goods received.
You will also maintain accurate inventory master data, monitor stock levels, incoming supply, demand and back orders, support stocktakes and investigate inventory discrepancies through to resolution.




This is a highly coordinated role where accuracy, organisation and follow through matter. You will be the link between our suppliers, freight providers, warehouse, Sales, Finance and customers, ensuring everyone has timely and accurate information and potential supply issues are identified early.

You pride yourself on having the following attributes
3 to 5+ years' experience
in supply chain, purchasing, inventory, imports, logistics or a similar coordination role.
Experience coordinating
domestic and international inbound freight
, including FCL, LCL and airfreight shipments.
A sound understanding of
Incoterms, shipping and import documentation
.
Experience working with purchase orders, supplier confirmations, goods receipts and invoice verification.
Strong experience using inventory management or ERP systems.
CIN7 experience is highly desirable.
Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills, with excellent attention to inventory, shipment and master data accuracy.
Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders, shipments,



deadlines and changing priorities simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and the discipline to keep purchase orders, shipment information and inventory records current and accurate.
Clear and skilled communication skills when dealing with suppliers, freight forwarders, customers and internal teams.
The ability to identify potential stock shortages, back orders, shipment delays and supply risks and eliminate them appropriately.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to investigate purchasing, invoice, shipment and inventory discrepancies through to resolution.
A proactive and accountable approach, with genuine ownership and follow through.
A positive, helpful and collaborative attitude and a genuine commitment to helping our clients, teammates and the business succeed.
