Help deliver a A$30 billion construction yard unlike anything built in Australia
With an estimated
A$30 billion investment over coming decades
to develop the Nuclear Powered Submarine Construction Yard at Osborne, South Australia.
This will be a critical national asset supporting the future construction of Australia's SSN-AUKUS submarines.

The role
As
Head of Technical Delivery
, you will lead the technical services function across the Nuclear Powered Submarine Construction Yard Program.
You will bring together engineering, design, technical assurance, digital engineering, infrastructure interfaces and safe design to ensure the program is technically integrated, governed and ready to deliver.
This is a high-profile leadership role for someone comfortable working through complexity across multiple disciplines, delivery packages, consultants, contractors, government stakeholders and regulators.
What you'll lead
Technical delivery strategy across the NPSCY Program
Owner's Engineer and specialist technical advisory services
Engineering assurance, design governance and technical compliance
Systems integration and complex infrastructure interfaces
Digital engineering, BIM and information-management practices
Site-wide infrastructure coordination and technical standards
Safe design principles across planning, design and delivery
Technical engagement with government,
regulators, contractors and design partners
A high-performing multidisciplinary technical team
You'll bring
Senior experience in technical delivery, engineering management, design management, technical assurance or systems integration
A background in complex, large-scale infrastructure projects
The ability to manage competing engineering, design, construction and operational interfaces
Strong knowledge of engineering assurance, governance, standards and safe design
Experience managing Owner's Engineer, technical advisory, engineering or design consultancy contracts
Exposure to digital engineering, BIM, common data environments or information management
Proven leadership capability across multidisciplinary technical teams
The confidence to engage senior government, regulator, contractor and consultant stakeholders
A practical, decisive approach and a solid commitment to quality, safety and technical integrity
Your background may include
Major transport, rail, tunnelling or airport projects
Ports, maritime, shipbuilding or defence infrastructure
Energy, utilities, transmission, renewables or critical infrastructure
Resources, process facilities, heavy industrial or advanced manufacturing
Large, high-assurance government infrastructure programs
Security & requirements
Australian citizenship is essential.
You must be eligible to obtain and maintain
NV1/2 security clearance
