Make a Difference in Gastroenterology Care | Clinical Nurse
Join our Gastroenterology team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with inflammatory bowel disease. In this advanced nursing role, you'll provide specialist care, clinical leadership, education, and care coordination, working closely with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
Permanent Part-Time – 32 hours per fortnight!
About you
The Gastroenterology Specialist Outpatient Service offers Specialist appointments to the West Moreton Community on select business days between the hours of ****hrs to ****hrs from the Specialist Outpatient Department at Ipswich Hospital and Ipswich Health Plaza.
The role will be responsible for the support of the Gastroenterology Outpatient Service, with the aim to improve access to care through service efficiency in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The role will facilitate expert clinical care and advice to consumers within the outpatient setting, including ambulatory care and treatment, utilising virtual healthcare where appropriate.
Awareness of the SOSIS and other guidelines relating to the processing of referrals and outpatient standards are beneficial within this role.

Mandatory Requirements:
Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. *****
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
