We are seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our established mining operation in regional New South Wales.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of heavy mobile equipment.
Specialise in underground mining fleets and auxiliary equipment in both underground and workshop environments
Carry out advanced electrical troubleshooting, fault finding, and diagnostic scanning to minimise downtime.
Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical systems and respond to breakdowns as needed.
Install, commission, and maintain vehicle control systems, communication gear, and air conditioning systems.
Work safely and ensure all tasks align with site safety and environmental standards.
Work closely with supervisors, planners, and fellow trades to support efficient operations.
To Be Successful, You Will Have:




A recognised trade qualification – Automotive Electrician (Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent).
Proven experience working within underground mining environments or on underground mobile plant equipment.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability across major underground fleets, including Sandvik, Epiroc, CAT, Volvo, and Normet.
Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, CAN-bus networks, and auto-air conditioning.
Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with site procedures.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
