Make every day different by joining our Chief Finance Officer Services. We have a current vacancy as the Senior Travel Officer. In your role you will be providing high level support and services to patients and staff of the Cairns & Hinterland Hospital and Health Service. Your valuable role coordinates and provides support for State vehicles and functions within the team ensuring financial compliance as well as providing management information to support decision making.

About your opportunity:
In this position you will...
Supervise the validation of vendor accounts and claims ensuring payments are in accord with policy and approvals and prepare electronic uploads and manual journals.




Have the ability and experience in maintaining vehicle management systems including, Utilisation Management System (UMS), Client Access System (CAS), Fleetscape and any current and emerging systems as they become available.
Interpret legislation, codes, standards, policies, guidelines and practices related to Patient Travel, Staff Travel and motor vehicles and provide high quality written and oral advice as required.
