Experienced Educational Leader | Eastern Suburbs
Ready to influence practice, mentor educators and make a real difference? We're looking for an
experienced Educational Leader
to join a professional early learning service in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
This is a hands‐on leadership opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is passionate about
pedagogy, educator development, quality improvement and creating meaningful learning outcomes for children
.
You'll work closely with the Centre Director and educator team to strengthen practice across the service while supporting educators to feel confident, capable and inspired in their roles.
As our Educational Leader, you will:
Lead and strengthen curriculum and pedagogical practice across the service
Mentor and support educators with planning, programming and reflective practice
Guide educators in developing meaningful learning experiences
Support consistent implementation of the EYLF
Review and strengthen observations, documentation and learning programs
Encourage intentional teaching and critical reflection
Work alongside room leaders and educators to identify opportunities for improvement
Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan and continuous improvement initiatives
Support a strong culture of professional learning
Collaborate with the Centre Director and leadership team




Help ensure the educational program reflects the individual needs, interests and strengths of each child
We're looking for an educator who brings
experience, confidence and a genuine passion for developing others
.
You will ideally have:
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
Previous experience as an Educational Leader, Curriculum Leader, Lead Educator or similar senior role
Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting educators
Robust understanding of programming, documentation and reflective practice
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A collaborative and professional approach to leadership
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
