Are you a natural salesperson who wants your results to change lives?
Key Community Group is looking for
two Employment Consultants
with real sales ability to join our Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) team —
one based in Taree and one in Kempsey.
These roles are for people who are energised by winning new business, comfortable picking up the phone to employers they've never met, and motivated by targets. If you've worked in recruitment, B2B sales, account management, real estate or retail leadership and want work with purpose, we want to hear from you.
About Key Community Group
Key Community Group is a trusted not-for-profit organisation supporting people across the Mid North Coast to find meaningful employment and achieve independence. Through our partnership with
Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)
, we help people of all abilities and backgrounds access inclusive, sustainable work opportunities and thrive in their local communities.
About the role
You will build a pipeline of local employers and match them with job seekers who have disability or health conditions. Much of your success will come from reverse marketing: presenting a candidate's skills and value to employers before a vacancy is advertised, uncovering hidden jobs, and creating roles that suit both the business and the participant. You'll manage the full cycle from prospecting and pitching through to placement, negotiation of hours and conditions, and post-placement support that keeps employers coming back.
What you'll be doing
Prospecting and cold-calling local businesses to generate job opportunities
Reverse marketing participants to employers,

pitching their strengths and the business case for hiring
Building and maintaining a strong employer network across the region
Negotiating job offers, job carving and workplace adjustments with employers
Meeting and exceeding placement and outcome targets
Supporting participants through job preparation, placement and ongoing employment
Case Management including maintaining accurate records and compliance records in line with the IEA program
What we're looking for
Proven sales or business development success, ideally with measurable results against targets
Confidence in cold calling, face-to-face pitching and closing
Robust negotiation and relationship-building skills
Resilience and self-motivation in a KPI-driven environment
Genuine interest in inclusive employment and supporting people to achieve their goals
Experience in employment services, recruitment or disability services (highly regarded but not essential; we'll train the right salesperson in the program)
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
What We Offer
Full-time position
with flexibility and autonomy.
Supportive, inclusive workplace culture with a strong team focus.
Ongoing mentoring, professional development, and career growth opportunities.
Salary packaging
options to maximise take-home pay.
Access to
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
for wellbeing support.
The opportunity to make a genuine difference in people's lives every day.
If you're passionate about inclusion and helping people achieve meaningful employment, we'd love to hear from you.
