Principal Software Developer
to join
Gold Coast Health
(GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Analyse, identify and formulate product and service improvements
Lead and provide software development and related technical specialist support services
Be able to participate in a highly skilled technical team providing high-level technical direction
Design and develop high quality enterprise software application products, components and services
Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation and compliance to technical policies
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Participation in on-call arrangements will be a requirement for this position. Appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply
Proven experience as a full stack developer, with demonstrable capabilities in both front-end and back-end development.
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Solid understanding of SDLC principles, with practical experience managing or delivering across the full lifecycle of software projects.
Agile Tooling Robust experience using Jira to manage user stories, sprints, and software delivery workflows.
