Are you an experienced Architectural Technician who knows Revit inside and out?
We're looking for an
Architectural Technician / Revit Model Manager
to join Cottee Parker Architects. This is a hands‐on project role for someone who enjoys producing high-quality architectural documentation, but also has the Revit capability to take ownership of project models, support project teams and help maintain strong BIM standards.
You'll work closely with our Project Leaders, Architects, Interior Designers and consultants across a range of projects, combining day-to-day architectural documentation with responsibility for the setup, coordination and ongoing management of Revit models.
What you'll be doing
Prepare accurate architectural drawings, models, schedules and documentation across different project stages
Set up and maintain Revit project models in accordance with CPA standards
Monitor model health, performance, warnings, links, worksets and overall model integrity
Coordinate architectural models with consultant and external discipline models
Support teams with Revit troubleshooting, workflows and modelling best practice
Assist with clash identification and coordination issues
Maintain consistency in families, templates, naming conventions and project standards
Support model audits and quality reviews throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate consultant information and documentation
Assist Project Leaders with project delivery, site information and resolving documentation issues
Contribute to the continued improvement of BIM and Revit processes across CPA
Share knowledge and help build Revit capability within project teams
About you
You'll be someone who is technically strong, organised and comfortable being the person a project team turns to when a Revit model needs attention.
Ideally, you'll bring:
5+ years previous Australian experience as an Architectural Technician, BIM Technician, Revit Technician or similar
Advanced Revit capability and strong understanding of model management
Experience working with complex architectural Revit models
Strong architectural documentation and technical skills
Understanding of BIM coordination and multidisciplinary model workflows
Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and building documentation
Solid attention to detail and an ability to identify potential model or documentation issues early
Confidence supporting and guiding other Revit usersStrong communication and coordination skills
A relevant architectural, drafting or building design qualification, or equivalent industry experience
