About the Role
As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of capital projects from inception through to construction and handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, sustainably, on time and within budget.
You'll work across medium to complex building and infrastructure projects, predominantly in the $7.5 million to $18 million range. You'll bring together consultants, contractors, internal teams and community stakeholders to turn project concepts into quality outcomes.
Your day could involve:
Working with internal teams and stakeholders to scope and shape projects.
Engaging with community groups and clubs to understand their needs and aspirations.
Managing consultants, contractors and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Developing project plans, business cases, budgets and procurement strategies.
Preparing and evaluating tenders and quotations.
Monitoring scope, cost, time, quality and risk, and addressing issues as they arise.
Solving complex problems and coordinating practical solutions across internal teams.
Guiding projects through design, approvals, construction and handover.
You'll have the opportunity to take projects from an initial idea through to completion and handover to the community or end user.




About You
You're an experienced Project Manager who can work independently, build strong relationships and confidently manage complex projects.
You're someone who:
Works autonomously and takes ownership of outcomes.
Has strong contractual knowledge, site experience and an understanding of building principles.
Has experience delivering medium to complex building or infrastructure projects.
Is confident managing procurement, contracts, budgets, timelines and project risks.
Communicates effectively with contractors, consultants, internal teams and community stakeholders.
Is a practical problem solver who can navigate competing priorities.
Shares knowledge and contributes positively to the team.
You'll bring relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Building and Construction or a related discipline, together with significant project management experience. Experience with contracts, business cases and project management documentation is required.
