What you'll do
As the Principal Integration Specialist, you will lead the design, planning, and delivery of complex enterprise-wide integration and ICT solutions that support Queensland Health's digital services. You will provide expert technical leadership, ensuring solutions align with established architecture frameworks, design standards, and best-practice methodologies. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of large-scale system changes, manage technical risks, and drive the delivery of program and project outcomes through a team of specialist technical professionals. You will also establish and maintain enterprise standards and procedures, provide high-level advice on complex technical issues, and guide technical teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of critical integration solutions.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
Demonstrated experience leading the design, publication, implementation, compliance and delivery of technical solutions to industry best practice frameworks for large scale, complex IM/ICT infrastructure delivery program/project(s), preferably in the health care industry. (SFIA Skill: ITMG: Level 6, HSIN: Level 5).
Demonstrated experience developing and testing HL7 messaging and Java-based message-oriented middleware solution. (SFIA Skill PROG Level 5and SFIA Skill TEST Level 6).
Prioritising, scheduling and managing the delivery of new capability between project, development, operational and business stakeholders. (SFIA Skill DLMG Level 5).
Demonstrated ability to analyse and document stakeholder objectives and the underlying issues arising from investigations into the business requirement and problems. (SFIA Skill BUAN Level 4 and SFIA Skill RLTM Level 5).
