Key objectives of role:
We are recruiting for a Full Time Group Therapist to join our dynamic Therapy team.
Facilitate daily trauma-informed group therapy for clients presenting with addictive processes and co-occurring mental health issues
Facilitate lectures, groups and workshops as per program schedule
Provide comprehensive and professional trauma-informed case management to a delegated case-load of inpatient clients
Support a positive treatment experience for all clients by role modelling functional adult behaviour.
Extensive training will be provided for suitable applicant
Essential Criteria:
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Psychology / Counselling or Graduate Diploma in Counselling / Psychotherapy
Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience including group therapy facilitation
Registered with an appropriate Counselling/Psychotherapy/Psychology body
Experience and understanding of Addiction
Experience in trauma-informed practice and delivery
Excellent communication skills
Independent worker with a team focus
NSW National Police Check (willing to obtain one)
CPR Certificate
Desirable Criteria:
CSAT trained/working towards
12 Step knowledge and/or lived experience
