About the role:
Lead delivery, compliance and continuous improvement of Community Safety regulatory programs by providing specialist legislative and operational advice, strengthening governance and data integrity, and improving business systems and processes across Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS), Automatic Fire Alarms (AFA), Hazmat, User Pays and related programs.
About you:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience interpreting and applying legislation, regulations and policy within a regulatory, compliance or government environment.
Experience leading or contributing to business improvement initiatives, including process, system and workflow enhancements.
Ability to analyse complex information and provide explicit, evidence-based advice and recommendations, including written reports.
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a related discipline (e.g. law, public policy, compliance, business or similar).
