Are you an experienced foundry or heavy manufacturing leader who knows a furnace inside and out and wants to own the result? Our client is seeking a hand-on Meltshop Supervisor to lead their meltshop team. This is a key leadership role where your decisions directly shape how the whole operation performs.

Key Responsibilities

Allocating daily work and coordinating production flow
Ensuring pouring crews and molten metal are ready to meet production requirements
Overseeing furnace operations, melting processes and metal distribution
Maintaining furnace condition and coordinating maintenance and repairs

Ensuring metal quality and inoculation meet the required standards
Operating the spectrometer and overseeing its correct use
Ensuring Production Process Sheets and quality procedures are followed
Keeping accurate melt logs, job cards and production records
Monitoring consumable stock levels and organising replenishment
Identifying production issues early and putting corrective actions in place

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and 5S across the meltshop
Ensuring all staff follow OH&S; procedures and PPE requirements
