About the Role:
We are recruiting an experienced Financial Accountant for an urgent contract chance with a food manufacturing business in Gympie. Working full-time and fully on site, you will support the finance team through to Christmas.
Key responsibilities include:
Month end close, journals and accruals
Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
P&L; reporting and variance analysis
Inventory reconciliations and stock valuation
Fixed asset accounting
Audit, BAS and compliance support
Manufacturing cost and operational variance analysis
You will ideally have:
Strong Financial Accounting experience
Solid month end and balance sheet capability
Strong Excel and ERP systems skills
Confidence working across finance and operational teams
Manufacturing, inventory or costing exposure would be advantageous
CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded
On Offer:
Up to $90 per hour + super, dependent on experience
Immediate start
Full-time contract through to Christmas
Fully on site in Gympie
Open to more senior candidates who have proven ability to be hands on
