North Canberra Hospital's Maternity Department is seeking enthusiastic Assistants in Midwifery (AIMs) to join the team. Opportunities are available to students who have successfully completed their first year of a Bachelor of Midwifery, or who meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Position Description. A variety of part‐time hours are available.
As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will support the midwifery team with patient care and a range of support duties, including patient transport, stocking supplies, responding to patient call systems, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for women and their families.
The successful applicant will be reliable, flexible, and committed to providing high‐quality care. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
This is a great opportunity to further develop your skills while supporting the delivery of maternity services.
