The Hinterland Collection is looking for a warm, confident and highly personable Weekend Wedding Sales & Guest Experience Officer to join our team across Saturdays and Sundays.
This is a varied, guest-facing role combining wedding enquiries and venue tours, sales and guest experiences across our collection of beautiful Tweed Hinterland properties.
One moment you may be showing a newly engaged couple around one of our wedding venues, and the next welcoming visitors to one of our tourism or dining experiences, including hosting our Potager Kitchen Garden Tours.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, is comfortable with sales and has the confidence and personality to create an exceptional experience for every guest.
The role
Working predominantly Saturdays and Sundays, you will:
Respond promptly and warmly to new wedding and event enquiries
Speak with prospective couples by phone and email to understand what they are looking for
Book and conduct personalised wedding venue tours and inspections
Showcase our venues, accommodation, packages and experiences
Build genuine rapport with couples and their families
Follow up enquiries and venue inspections to help convert opportunities into bookings
Maintain accurate enquiry and sales information within our CRM and booking systems
Welcome and host guests participating in experiences across The Hinterland Collection
Host guided Kitchen Garden Tours at Potager, sharing the story of the garden, seasonal produce and its connection to the restaurant
Assist with other tourism, food, accommodation and special experiences offered across the Collection




Help ensure guests receive a warm, knowledgeable and memorable experience from arrival to departure
Assist with wedding showcases, open days, special events and activations
Work collaboratively with our wedding, restaurant, accommodation and operations teams
Represent The Hinterland Collection with warmth, professionalism and genuine enthusiasm
About you
We're looking for someone who is naturally engaging, enjoys working with people and thrives as part of a team.
You will ideally be:

Comfortable speaking to individuals and groups
Confident with sales and proactive follow-up
An excellent communicator in person, over the phone and via email
Interested in food, gardens, tourism, weddings and hospitality
Able to learn and confidently share the stories behind our properties and experiences
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Professional and well presented
Able to work independently when required while also contributing positively to the wider team
Confident using email, CRM and booking systems
Reliable and consistently available on both Saturdays and Sundays
Previous experience in wedding or venue sales, tourism, tour guiding, events, hotels, restaurants, hospitality, real estate, luxury retail or another customer-focused sales environment would be highly regarded.




You don't necessarily need to have worked in weddings or as a tour guide before. Personality is incredibly important to us. If you're an exceptional communicator who loves people, enjoys telling a story and can make guests feel immediately welcome, we'd love to hear from you.

Our collection includes Summergrove Estate, Elysian Hills, Potager - A Kitchen Garden, Cascade Springs and Bellingdale Farm, each with its own character and offering.
From weddings and romantic escapes to garden tours, dining and nature-based experiences, our focus is on creating memorable experiences with genuine, personal hospitality.
Hours
This is a casual weekend position, with regular work on Saturdays and Sundays.
Weekend availability is essential, as these are key days for wedding venue inspections and guest experiences.
There may also be opportunities for additional hours during busy periods, wedding showcases, events and tourism experiences.
