Assistant Manager & Social Media Manager
to work across our two thriving clubs.
This is a unique hybrid role combining
club operations, sales, member experience and social media management
. You'll work closely with our Club Managers while taking ownership of the social media presence across both locations.
With approximately
1,500 members at each club
, you'll be joining two busy, established fitness communities with plenty happening both inside and outside the clubs.

Assistant Manager & Social Media Manager

THE ROLE
As Assistant Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operation and performance of both clubs, including:
Membership sales, enquiries and lead follow-up
Conducting club tours and appointments
Member engagement and retention
Supporting club KPIs and performance targets
Maintaining presentation and operational standards
Assisting with events, challenges and community engagement
Supporting the Club Managers and wider team
Running Group Fitness Classes
Creating a positive, high-energy club environment
SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT
A major part of this position is taking ownership of social media across
both Wallan & Kilmore
.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing the social media content scheduler




Planning and creating engaging content for both clubs
Filming and producing Reels and short-form video
Being comfortable and confident in front of the camera
Being willing to feature in Reels, videos and promotional content
Following current social media trends and adapting them to our clubs
Editing, cutting and posting content
Creating content featuring members, staff and PTs
Developing content around promotions, events, challenges and marketing campaigns
Ensuring both clubs maintain a consistent and engaging online presence
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys content creation and isn't afraid to
jump in front of the camera, bring personality to our content and become one of the familiar faces of our clubs online.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You'll be someone who:
Has a strong interest in fitness and the health & wellness industry
Is confident, outgoing and comfortable speaking with members
Is confident and natural in front of the camera
Has strong sales and customer service skills
Understands Instagram, Reels and current social media trends
Has experience creating and editing short-form content
Is highly organised and able to manage a content schedule
Shows initiative and takes ownership without needing constant direction
Is results-driven and enjoys working towards KPIs
Can confidently work across both Wallan and Kilmore
Wants to grow within a multi-club fitness business
HOURS & ROSTER
This is a
permanent part-time position of between ***** hours per week
, including employee entitlements and superannuation.
The position works across
both Wallan and Kilmore
and operates on a
set roster
, including a Saturday half-day (fortnightly).




The rostered days and hours are non-negotiable
, so applicants must be available for the required shifts across both locations.
Monday:2-7pm
Tuesday: 2-7pm
Wednesday: 12-7pm
Thursday: 12-7pm
Saturday: 8-1pm (fortnightly) *if you wanted every Saturday that is an option as well!

Our existing PTs are currently at capacity for new clients, creating a significant opportunity for the right person to build a strong client base across approximately 3,000 members.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this position, applicants will ideally hold:
Certificate III in Fitness – required
Certificate IV in Fitness – highly desirable
Current First Aid Certificate – required
Current CPR Certificate – required
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) – required
Applicants who hold a Certificate IV in Fitness will also have the opportunity to operate their own Personal Training business across both clubs.
