The Venue
Entering through the open-air Terrace and Bar, guests arrive to Sydney's coldest martinis, draught beer, and a world-class wine list. Move through to the Dining Room and the energy shifts - it's theatrical, buzzy, and alive, with meat dry-aged in full view and a room that hums with intention. It's a venue that makes an impression, and so should you.
The Role
As a Host at Alfie's, you're the first and last thing guests experience. You set the tone, warm, attentive, and genuinely engaged and you work closely with the team to make sure every guest feels looked after from the moment they arrive.
You'll manage reservations and walk-ins with ease, read a room well, and communicate clearly across the floor and familiarity with SevenRooms is a bonus.
What's on offer
Lunch and dinner services
Staff discounts across all Liquid & Larder venues
Discounted Virgin Active Club membership

External coaching and development opportunities
Real scope for growth within a career-driven hospitality group
A team that takes work/life balance seriously
What we're looking for
Someone who leads with warmth, takes ownership, and genuinely loves creating an experience, not just delivering a service. You're a team player, you push yourself and the people around you, and you take pride in the detail.
About Liquid & Larder
Liquid & Larder is the group behind Bistecca, The Gidley, The Rover, and Alfie's. We're sensory-driven and imaginative building venues that offer escapism, comfort, and surprise in equal measure.
If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
