Head of Operational Risk, Line 2, Wealth & Value Chain
The Company is seeking a Head of Operational Risk for its Wealth and Value Chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent second-line oversight, challenge, and advice on non-financial and operational risks. This includes assessing the effectiveness of risk management, identifying and addressing material and emerging risks across the value chain, and leading the development of risk capability within the organization. The role also involves providing clear risk insight to senior leaders and governance forums, and ensuring a strong risk culture is maintained.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in financial services, with a focus on operational and non-financial risk. A background in complex financial services environments, such as value chain, wealth, or retail banking,



is essential. The role requires a solid understanding of end-to-end processes, controls, customer journeys, and interconnected risks. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, demonstrate strong commercial judgment, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills. The Head of Operational Risk will be a key partner to senior leaders, contributing to the organization's goal of sustainable risk outcomes and effective second-line oversight.
