About the Role
Work
1:1 with a Partner
and attend client meetings from the outset.
Gain exposure to complex and contested Family Law matters, particularly
property disputes
.
Work on high-value matters, including a strong focus on
agriculture and farming
.
Be involved in negotiations, mediations and litigation rather than being limited to junior-level work.
Take increasing ownership of your own matters as your experience develops.
Responsibilities
Provide practical, commercially focused Family Law advice with Partner support.
Assist with and progressively take carriage of files from start to resolution.
Prepare agreements, court documents, correspondence and legal advice.
Attend client meetings, negotiations, mediations and litigation with the Partner.
Build strong client relationships and develop your confidence as a lawyer.
Skills & Experience




Admitted to practice in Queensland with a current Queensland Practising Certificate.
Family Law experience is desirable, but
seniority is not the priority
.
Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in Family Law.
Driven, proactive and eager to learn.
A personable, collaborative approach and a genuine desire to build a long-term career
Direct Partner exposure
