, we're looking for an experienced Barista who can deliver exceptional coffee consistently, keep service flowing and make every customer feel welcome.

The opportunity
This is a
casual position paying $33-$40 per hour, with ***** hours available per week

You'll take a hands-on role in maintaining our coffee standards, working closely with the team across espresso, filter coffee, specialty tea and customer service.
This role suits someone who brings both technical skill and genuine hospitality. You'll be comfortable dialling in, adjusting recipes throughout service and communicating clearly with your teammates—all while keeping quality front of mind.
What you'll be doing
Preparing consistently excellent espresso, milk-based drinks, filter coffee and specialty teas.
Dialling in grinders and monitoring dose, yield, extraction time and flavour throughout the day.
Developing and following brew recipes for single-origin coffees, sharing adjustments with the team.
Texturing milk and alternative milks correctly, with strong latte art and consistent presentation.
Managing a busy coffee station efficiently without compromising drink quality.
Welcoming customers,



taking orders, processing payments and building relationships with our regulars.
Sharing your knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods and flavour profiles with customers and colleagues.
Cleaning and maintaining espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment.
Supporting opening and closing procedures, stock checks and day-to-day café service.
Helping train new front-of-house team members in drink preparation, equipment use, customer service and café procedures.
What we're looking for
Proven specialty coffee experience
in a busy café.
Confidence in high-volume service
, with the ability to stay organised and communicate clearly under pressure.
Strong espresso skills
, including dialling in, tasting and troubleshooting extractions.
Excellent milk texturing and latte art
, with consistent results across dairy and alternative milks.
Knowledge of filter brewing
, coffee origins and flavour profiles.
Warm, attentive customer service
and a genuine interest in getting to know our customers.
Reliability, punctuality and initiative
—you arrive ready, notice what needs doing and support your teammates.
Pride in your workspace
, with high standards of cleanliness and equipment care.
Experience training other baristas or front-of-house staff will be highly regarded.
