About the Role
Joining our team in
Chinchilla
, you will support a person with disability who accesses our community access services.
The person you will be supporting enjoys fishing, BBQ's, movies and attending events and markets and is looking for a support worker who shares these interests and is passionate about active support.
You will join the team on a
permanent part-time
basis of 1–2-day shifts per week between 2-5 hours in length.



There is flexibility in days worked Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities
Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans
Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
Maintain thorough record keeping
Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
Advocate for client choice and control
Skills & Experience
Interest in fishing, BBQ's and movies
Experience working with people with disability
Passionate about active support
Experience with mobility support and manual handling
Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
