DELIVERY DRIVER AND PACKER (fruit and vegetables) 5 days - IMMEDIATE START
We are a wholesale business based at Newcastle Fruit and Vegetable Markets at Sandgate. We operate 7 days per week delivering to the Hospitality industry and homes within Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Lake Macquarie
Our mornings kick off early (approx 4am) so we have the fresh produce to our restaurants before breakfast and all deliveries are completed by lunchtime. Previous kitchen experience is highly desirable.
The successful applicant must be available to start work at 4am and be punctual plus reliable. (Penalty rates are paid before 7am)
Qualifications & experience
License
Self motivated and work unsupervised
Good knowledge of Fruit and Vegetables - previous kitchen experience is highly desirable




Good driving record
Tasks & responsibilities
4AM starting time
Packing fruit and vegetable orders
Delivering packed orders to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Valley
Positive customer service skills and the ability to liaison with Hospitality and local community
Must be available to work SATURDAYS and occasional Sunday
Start at 4am finish by lunchtime
$***** plus per hour Mon - Frid, penalty rates paid before 7am, Saturday $***** per hour, Sunday $***** per hour
Could lead to permanent position for the right person
