Key Responsibilities
Support the Operations and Production teams with day-to-day activities, including:
Production Planning Support:
Assist in planning and coordinating production jobs based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
Batch Documentation:
Prepare and issue batch documents accurately for review and execution, ensuring every detail is correct.
Scheduling Coordination:
Liaise with Sales, Warehouse and QA to keep production jobs on track, and help adjust schedules quickly when priorities or circumstances change.
Stock Monitoring:
Keep a close eye on stock levels, flag potential shortages early, and raise purchase requests to ensure materials are replenished on time.
Project Support:
Assist with new projects as directed by senior management, helping to meet deadlines and expectations.
Communication and Collaboration:
Act as a key point of contact between QA, Sales and Warehouse teams, keeping information and materials flowing smoothly.
Additional Duties:




Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Operations Manager or senior executives.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience:
Some exposure to production planning, operations, supply chain or a manufacturing environment (internship, graduate or up to 2 years' experience). Experience with own-brand or OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production is a plus, but not essential.
Industry Background:
Exposure to pharmaceuticals is highly regarded. Candidates from FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), food, or similar industries are also encouraged to apply.
Logical Thinking:
A structured, logical approach to working through problems and planning tasks.
Quick Thinking and Flexibility:
The ability to think on your feet, adapt to changing priorities, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to Detail:
A meticulous approach to every task, particularly batch documents, schedules and stock records.
Communication Skills:
Clear and confident communication in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to work well across different teams. Knowledge of Chinese is highly regarded but not required.
Organisational Skills:
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks at once.
Data Accuracy:
Strong data entry and computer skills (Excel in particular) to keep records accurate and up to date.
Education:
A qualification in chemistry, science, manufacturing, food technology, supply chain, accounting or a related field is desirable.
