Health and Security Assistant (HASA) - Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital - Perm FT
Must hold a current Class 1A Security License with the NSW Security Industry **** Class 1A, Current First Aid Certificate and must possess an AustralianC-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
Describe a situation where you were required to manage a challenging or high‐risk interaction (e.g., an aggressive person, a distressed client, or a volatile setting). In your response, outline how you applied conflict resolution, de‐escalation, and safe restraint principles, as well as how you ensured the safety of yourself and others.
Provide an example of a time you were required to follow strict procedures while working as part of a multi‐disciplinary team. Include how you demonstrated safe manual handling or infection control, used computer or electronic security systems, took direction from supervisors, and communicated effectively with staff or the public.
