About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Senior Payroll & Bookkeeper
to join our dynamic team at our Head Office in
Bibra Lake
.
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who thrives on payroll, end-of-month processing, budgets and reporting? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Reporting to and working closely with the
Commercial Services Manager
, you will receive full support and leadership while being part of a proactive, collaborative and innovative team environment.
This is a
full-time position
; however,
part-time applicants are welcome
, with availability required on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
, based onsite at our Bibra Lake location.
Key Responsibilities
Process
end-to-end payroll for approximately 400 employees
across the organisation
Ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with Australian payroll legislation, awards, and superannuation requirements
Maintain payroll records, PAYG, superannuation, and related reporting obligations
Prepare and post
journal entries
Maintain
depreciation schedules and HP loan schedules
Assist with
financial forecasting, budgets and reporting
Preferred Qualifications & Experience




Proven experience managing
medium to large payrolls (300+ employees preferred)
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting functions
Proficiency in
MYOB
Advanced Excel
skills
Experience with
budgets and forecasting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Exceptional
attention to detail
in all financial transactions
You Will Also Demonstrate
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to develop and maintain efficient administrative systems and procedures
Robust teamwork skills
A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to set priorities and use initiative
Ability to work independently while supporting the
Matic Group Commercial Services Manager
and collaborating with the Administration and Accounts team
