Early Learning Victoria (ELV)
is leading the roll-out of 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by ****, with 18 currently operating. Our centres offer long day care, three and four-year-old kindergarten and pre-prep in accessible, play-based environments connected to local communities. We are committed to creating enriching work environments, encouraging professional growth and maintaining the highest standards of child safety.
About the Role
Opening in **** and co-located with Nicholson Primary School, Early Learning Victoria Nicholson and District is a 102-place centre and will provide long day care, three- and four-year-old kindergarten programs.
This centre is located 293KMs from Melbourne and 13KMS from Bairnsdale.
In this role, you will:
Provide administrative support across all aspects of centre operations, including enrolment processing, Child Care Subsidy management, payroll, attendance and record keeping
Serve as a key point of contact for families, responding to enquiries by phone, email and in person
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, colleagues, suppliers and the ELV central team
Process payments and perform data entry into the Child Care Management System and payroll systems
Monitor centre security and perform general administrative tasks including communications, team planning and accepting deliveries
Operate in accordance with Education Care Services National Law and Regulations and Early Learning Victoria policies and procedures

About You
Previous experience in an administrativerole,ideallywith exposure to the early childhood sector
Experience in financial reporting and following organisational policies and procedures
Confidence using administrative software and systems, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, families and communities
Strong organisational skills, including time management, multitasking and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Qualifications and Experience
Qualification in business administration or a related fieldwill behighly regarded
Certificate III ordiploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or higherwill behighly regarded
Valid Working with Children Check; completion of Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning
Agreement to a police check; an international police check must be provided for candidates who have resided outside of Australia for 12+ months in the last 10 years
