We believe in empowering individuals to achieve their goals, exercise choice and control, and live as independently as possible within their communities.About the RoleAs a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with participants, families, support teams, and other stakeholders to develop and implement meaningful, evidence-based behaviour support strategies that enhance quality of life and reduce the need for restrictive practices.Working within a small, experienced and highly collaborative PBS team, you will have access to regular supervision, mentoring, professional development opportunities, and a structured pathway for career progressionn.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive functional behaviour assessments and behavioural analysis.Develop, implement, and review evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.Deliver individualised positive behaviour support and skill-building interventions.Provide coaching, training, and implementation support to frontline teams.Collaborate with participants, families, guardians, providers,
and allied health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.Support the identification, reduction, and elimination of restrictive practices in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.Monitor, analyse, and interpret behavioural data to inform clinical decision-making.Contribute to innovative clinical initiatives, service improvement activities, and quality assurance processes.Facilitate participant engagement and feedback to ensure services remain person-centred and responsive.What You'll BringWe're looking for a practitioner who is passionate about improving quality of life outcomes and committed to person-centred, rights-based practice.Essential RequirementsRecognition as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner under the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.Experience developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans.Experience conducting functional behavioural assessments and behavioural analysis.Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Excellent written communication and report-writing abilities.A collaborative and proactive approach to practice.Current Driver's Licence.NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as:Developmental EducationSocial WorkOccupational TherapyPsychologyHealth SciencesDisability StudiesHuman ServicesOr a related fieldHighly RegardedExperience supporting people with complex disability, mental health, forensic presentations, or multiple support needs.Experience working within multidisciplinary environments.Knowledge of contemporary Positive Behaviour Support practice and restrictive practice reduction Join CLO?Our PBS service is intentionally designed around quality outcomes rather than high-volume service delivery.
