Clinical Nurse Consultant (Hepatobiliary)
Be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise at an advanced nursing practice level for the provision and coordination of evidence-based person-centred care.

Clinical Nurse Consultant (Hepatobiliary)
to join
Gold Coast Health
(GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Demonstrate advanced knowledge in hepatopancreatobiliary surgical procedures, disorders and treatments
Be in collaboration with the outpatient clinic nursing team to maximise efficient clinic care and outcomes
Manage outpatient waiting lists in line with Surgical Outpatient Services Information System (SOSIS), Clinical Prioritisation Criteria (CPC) and monitor long-wait positions
Demonstrate advanced application of auditing of waitlists, triaging, including referral direction and clinic allocation
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
