About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, energetic and guest-focused Guest Service Attendant to join the team at Metung Country Club.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will be one of the first points of contact for our guests and members, providing warm, professional service across guest reception, the Pro Shop and food & beverage operations.

Working as part of a dynamic team, you will help create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the Country Club.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming and farewelling guests and members, providing friendly and professional service.
- Responding to guest enquiries by phone, email and in person, providing accurate information about facilities, products, packages and rules.
- Processing sales transactions, preparing gift certificates and assisting with retail sales and administration.
- Supporting the daily operation of the Pro Shop, including green fees, competition fees, retail,



food and beverage, bar service and golf equipment hire.
- Assisting members and guests with their golf and Country Club needs while identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
- Supporting the golf cart fleet, including presentation, cleaning and general readiness.
- Delivering friendly and efficient food and beverage service, including order taking, table service and food and beverage preparation.
- Preparing a range of menu items, beverages, pizzas and snacks while following safe and hygienic food handling practices.
- Maintaining clean, organised and well-presented guest, dining, kitchen, Pro Shop and service areas.
- Supporting stock control, ordering and regular stocktakes.
- Working closely with colleagues and other departments to resolve guest queries and ensure smooth operations.
- Recording and communicating guest feedback, issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Following all company policies, procedures, safety requirements and regulatory obligations.

About You

You are a naturally friendly and skilled person who enjoys creating positive experiences for guests and members. You are comfortable juggling different tasks, working as part of a team and adapting to the needs of a busy operation.

You will bring:





- Exceptional customer service and administration skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a genuine passion for helping people.
- Strong attention to detail and a prompt, responsive approach to guest needs.
- A positive, energetic and hardworking attitude.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
- High standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
- Previous experience in a guest service, hospitality, golf, retail or customer service environment is advantageous.
- Experience processing POS transactions and handling sales.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check.
- A current Food Handlers Certificate.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification in Victoria.
