Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Locum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant, Staff Specialist or VMO to support O&G; services.

This role suits experienced O&G; specialists wanting a short locum block that can fit around existing commitments, leave, family or ongoing work.

You will provide consultant-level support across obstetric and gynaecology presentations, clinical reviews, management planning and documentation.

Clinical Environment

- Consultant-level O&G; cover
- Regional hospital setting
- Supportive medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams
- Escalation pathways available
- Suitable for recent O&G; consultant-level experience

Key Duties

- Review and manage obstetric and gynaecology patients
- Support clinical decision-making and management plans
- Complete documentation and handover
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Escalate care appropriately when required

Requirements

- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Recent O&G; consultant-level experience
- Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
- Current CV,



references and compliance documents as required
