Lismore Base Hospital is seeking a Locum Obstetrics and Gynaecology Consultant, Staff Specialist or VMO to provide consultant-level O&G; cover.

This role is ideal for an experienced O&G; specialist wanting meaningful regional work in one of Northern NSW’s most appealing lifestyle locations.

You will support obstetric and gynaecology presentations, clinical reviews, management planning, documentation and escalation of care where required.

Clinical Workplace

- Consultant-level Obstetrics and Gynaecology cover
- Hospital-based locum position in Lismore
- Regional hospital setting within Northern NSW LHD
- Supportive clinical team environment
- Escalation pathways available

Key Duties

- Review and manage obstetric and gynaecology patients
- Support clinical decision-making and management plans
- Complete documentation and handover as required
- Work with medical, midwifery, nursing and allied health teams
- Escalate care appropriately when required

Requirements

- Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
- Recent O&G; consultant-level experience
- Strong communication, leadership and clinical judgement
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
- Current CV,



references and compliance documents as required
