Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking FACEMs and senior Emergency Consultants for adaptable consultant-level ED locum work.
This role suits senior doctors wanting locum work that can fit around family, permanent roles, leave, travel or other commitments.
You can discuss site preferences, shift structures and dates that suit your availability, with full support for onboarding, rostering and compliance.
Clinical Environment
- Consultant-level ED leadership
- Regional referral centres and smaller rural hospitals
- Support from registrars, RMOs, nursing staff and operational teams
- Presentations include trauma, paediatrics, rural emergencies and retrieval cases
- Clear escalation frameworks and handover systems
Requirements
- Specialist AHPRA Registration
- FACEM or equivalent
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
