Far West Local Health District is seeking a confident Locum Senior ED Doctor for a high-responsibility Emergency Department role in remote NSW.
This role is ideal for an Emergency Physician, GP VMO or senior registrar with in-charge experience who wants strong hourly rates, clinical leadership and full travel support.
You will work as the senior decision-maker in ED, managing acute presentations with support from nurses, hospital teams and remote specialist backup.
Clinical Workplace
- Senior in-charge ED role
- Trauma, acute care, rural medicine and procedural presentations
- Strong autonomy with escalation pathways available
- Remote specialist backup and hospital team support
- Valuable leadership experience in a regional setting
Requirements
- AHPRA General or Specialist Registration
- PGY5+ with in-charge ED experience, or FACEM / GP VMO
- NSW Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Confidence with clinical leadership and supervision
