Due to ongoing business growth and technology development initiatives, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team in Villawood, NSW.

About the Role

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing and maintaining enterprise software applications and business systems that support the company's operations. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of software solutions, system integrations, databases and cloud-based technologies to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Research, analyse and evaluate business and system requirements to identify software solutions and opportunities for improvement.

- Design, develop, implement and maintain enterprise software applications and business systems.

- Develop and maintain APIs, integrations and backend services connecting internal and third-party platforms.

- Design, optimise and maintain database structures and software architectures.

- Conduct software testing, debugging, diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure applications meet business and technical requirements.

- Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, reliability and scalability.





- Support cloud-based infrastructure and deployment environments.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides and operational procedures.

- Provide technical advice regarding software design, system architecture, upgrades and technology solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge and effective software solutions that support business growth.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering, software development, systems development or enterprise application development.

- Strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with software testing, debugging, systems analysis and technical documentation.

- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise software applications, databases and system integrations.

- Experience with technologies such as Python, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, AWS, Git, ERP platforms or similar technologies will be highly regarded.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
