Western NSW Local Health District is seeking a Locum GP VMO ED to provide medical cover within a rural Multi Purpose Service.

This role suits a GP VMO wanting rural locum work that can fit around permanent practice, family, travel, leave or other commitments.

You will support Emergency Department presentations, ward-based patient care, documentation, handover and escalation of care when required.

Clinical Environment

Key Duties

- Provide GP VMO ED cover
- Assess and manage ED presentations
- Support ward-based care
- Complete documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with nursing and healthcare teams

Requirements

- Current AHPRA Registration
- Recent GP VMO ED or rural Emergency Medicine experience
- Strong clinical judgement and communication skills
- Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
- Current CV,



references and compliance documents as required
