About the Role:We are seeking experienced Remote Area Registered Nurses for temporary contract placements across the APY Lands, Far North SA. In these rewarding remote roles, you will deliver comprehensive primary health care to remote Aboriginal communities, working with a high degree of clinical autonomy across emergency presentations, chronic disease management and community health.

- Deliver comprehensive primary health care in a remote community setting
- Manage emergency presentations and stabilisation prior to retrieval
- Provide chronic disease management and health promotion
- Administer immunisations in line with the national schedule
- Work with a high degree of clinical autonomy while maintaining escalation pathways
- Engage respectfully with Aboriginal communities and cultural protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Available Placements:

- Amata Clinic: 18 September to 23 October 2026
- Pipalyatjara Clinic: 18 September to 30 October 2026
- Amata Clinic: 25 September to 11 November 2026
- Iwantja Clinic: 17 November to 29 December 2026

Benefits:

- $105.87+ per hour + superannuation

About You:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated Remote Area Nursing experience (essential)
- Remote Emergency Care (REC) certification (essential)
- Maternity Emergency Care (MEC) certification (essential)
- Immunisation certification (essential)
- ETC certification (essential)
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting
- Eligible to work in Australia
