About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a temporary contract placement in the Emergency Department at Rockhampton, QLD. This contract runs from 13 to 30 August 2026, with potential to extend. You will join a busy ED team delivering high-quality emergency care across a broad range of presentations, working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

- Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care across all acuity levels
- Perform triage assessments and prioritise patient care
- Provide advanced life support and participate in resuscitation
- Perform IV cannulation and medication administration
- Support ventilated patients as required
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary emergency team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Benefits:

- $65 - $75 per hour + superannuation

About You:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated emergency nursing experience (essential)




- Advanced Life Support certification (essential)
- Triage, resuscitation and IV cannulation experience (essential)
- Ventilation experience (highly desirable)
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (highly desirable)
- Eligible to work in Australia
