About the Role:We are seeking a dual registered Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife for a temporary contract placement in Canberra, ACT. This contract runs from 27 August 2026 to 10 February 2027. You will deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care within a busy tertiary maternity service, drawing on your team-leading experience to support safe, coordinated and woman-centred care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

- Deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care across the maternity service
- Provide antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care in line with best practice standards
- Undertake fetal surveillance and interpretation in accordance with FSEP standards
- Provide team leadership, coordination and support to nursing and midwifery staff
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

About You:





- Current AHPRA registration as both a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (dual registration essential)
- FSEP Level 3 (essential)
- Demonstrated team-leading experience (essential)
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Eligible to work in Australia
