About the Role:

We are seeking a Team Leader to join a leading occupational rehabilitation provider in SE Melbourne, VIC. Ideally suited to an Occupational Therapist, this role is also open to Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Osteopaths, with Rehabilitation Counsellors, Social Workers and Psychologists also considered a physical allied health background is preferred.

You will provide technical guidance and support to a team of Rehabilitation Consultants while managing your own caseload of approximately 15-20 cases. This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in the office, working full-time onsite for the first couple of months while learning the business. You will lead a well-established team of 9, driving team performance, productivity and quality, while delivering specialist assessment and case management services that support timely and sustainable health and work outcomes for clients.

Your responsibilities will span people leadership and coaching, caseload and stakeholder management, quality assurance and compliance, financial productivity targets, and contributing to innovation initiatives across the team.

About You:

- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy (ideal), Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy Rehabilitation Counsellors, Social Workers and Psychologists also considered
- Current full membership with relevant professional association (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in occupational rehabilitation (essential)
- Demonstrated management and/or leadership experience
- Experience gained with an established occupational rehabilitation provider highly regarded
- Experience in teaching, mentoring and coaching consultants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report writing
- Strong decision making, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, time management and organisational skills
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence
- Willingness to complete mandatory checks including Police Check and Working with Children/Vulnerable People Check
- Valid working rights in Australia
