- Process incoming payments and complete account and bank reconciliations.
- Issue account statements and follow up outstanding payments.
- Maintain accurate customer, provider and financial information across relevant systems.
- Support general accounts receivable duties and improvements to billing processes.
What you’ll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or significant experience in billing, claims administration or accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate data entry and sound record keeping.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including confidence using Excel to reconcile and analyse information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate discrepancies.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Experience with NDIS billing and claims processing is highly desirable, including familiarity with the NDIA portal, participant billing and resolving rejected payment requests.
Experience with CareLink, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or the community services sector will also be well regarded.
Why join?
- A six-month contract with potential for permanent employment
- Meaningful work supporting an organisation focused on people and wellbeing.
- The prospect to build your experience across NDIS billing, claims and financial operations.
- Collaboration with Finance and service delivery teams, with scope to contribute ideas and improve processes.
The successful applicant will be required to provide:
- A satisfactory National Police Check (issued within 3 months)
- Proof of identity and the right to work in Australia.
- Evidence of relevant qualifications, where applicable.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- NDIS worker check (or willingness to obtain)
