Job description:
Role Type: 12-month part time contract (19 hours per week)
Salary: $ 115,865 - $ 120,540 p.a plus super (pro rata)

The opportunity:
Join a leading NHMRC-funded paediatric emergency medicine research network as part of the PREDICT CRE, supporting a dynamic international collaboration across multiple centres. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to coordinate key operations, support CRE activities, and work closely with the PREDICT Executive and network members. Be a part of strengthening collaboration across national and international research teams while helping to communicate and drive the work of the network. You will contribute to building a professional, sustainable, and high-impact research culture supported by solid structure and policy.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a growing and evolving research network that delivers meaningful outcomes in paediatric emergency medicine. This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract. Funding for continuation beyond this period is anticipated, and extension will be subject to ongoing funding availability and the outcome of the initial term.
What you'll do
- Coordinate CRE and PREDICT operations, including Executive, subcommittees, and network meetings and key events
- Support research delivery through data collation, REDCap database management, and grant/reporting preparation
- Lead communications activities including newsletters, website content, LinkedIn and stakeholder updates across the network
- Facilitate collaboration across national and international research teams and support review of new projects and initiatives
- Contribute to research culture and capacity building through consumer engagement, mentoring, and process improvement
What you'll bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification (public health, science or related field) with experience in research or project coordination
- Strong project management skills with experience supporting multi-centre research and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
- Advanced digital capability, including Microsoft Office and experience managing research databases (e.g. REDCap, Excel)
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and ability to contribute to publications and basic communications or social media activity
- A flexible approach to working with the team
