Ray White Bendigo is looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable person to join our Rooming House team.

You might come from retail, hospitality, reception, customer service or sales. What matters is that you communicate well, follow through and enjoy helping people.

You’ll respond to enquiries, show prospective residents through available rooms and help make their move-in experience a positive one. This is an active role combining customer contact, property visits and administration, with regular weekend work.

About the role

Working closely with our Rooming House team, you’ll help turn enquiries into successful room placements and keep the leasing process moving.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Responding promptly to room enquiries by phone, email and approved online platforms.

- Following up with prospective residents and coordinating open for inspections and private inspections for rooming houses.

- Proactively sourcing prospective residents through approved online platforms, community contacts and referral opportunities.

- Conducting room tours and explaining the application process.

- Helping applicants provide the information needed to progress their applications.

- Supporting room advertising across approved leasing platforms.

- Coordinating with the team on room readiness, presentation and preparation between residents.

- Assisting with resident onboarding, inductions, keys and move-ins.

- Maintaining accurate enquiry,



appointment, application and placement records.

- Working with the team to support strong occupancy and a positive resident experience.

About you

You’ll be well suited to this role if you are:

- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with new people.

- Proactive with follow-up and motivated by achieving results.

- Organised and able to manage several enquiries and appointments at once.

- Confident using everyday computer systems and learning current platforms.

- Reliable and comfortable working independently within team procedures.

- Respectful and comfortable engaging with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.

- Available for regular rostered weekend work and some agreed evening work.

Customer service, retail, hospitality, administration or sales experience will be highly regarded. Previous property management experience is not essential.

Requirements

- A current Australian driver licence.

- Access to a reliable vehicle for approved work-related travel.

- Availability to work regularly on Saturdays and Sundays.

- An interest in developing your skills in leasing and property management.

A Victorian Agent’s Representative qualification or real estate licence will be highly regarded.

Working arrangements

This is a full-time position based at Ray White Bendigo, 27 Queen Street, Bendigo, involving both office work and visits to properties.

Regular weekend work is a requirement of the role, including responding to enquiries, conducting room tours and supporting move-ins on Saturdays and Sundays.

Weekday hours and days off will form part of the agreed roster. Some agreed evening work may also be required.
