About the role

MOTUM Simulation is seeking a hands on Workshop Technician / Assembler / Light Fabricator to join the team on a 3–6 month contract, with the possibility of ongoing employment for the right person. In this role, you will carry out general metal work and light fabrication, assemble components and products to specification, perform basic wiring and electrical fit outs, and operate workshop tools and equipment safely.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out general metal work and light fabrication
- Assemble components and products to specification
- Perform basic wiring and electrical fit outs
- Operate workshop tools and equipment safely
- Follow job sheets and be able to work independently without supervision
- Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace

About you

- Experience in the caravan, trailer, RV, or similar hands on industry




- Previous skills in metal work, fabrication, and general assembly
- Basic wiring or electrical experience
- Reliable with a good work ethic
- Ability to work unsupervised and think methodically
- Good problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload
