About the role

We need an experienced Project Manager to take our live projects through to handover. You'll run each job as if it were your own: the numbers, the program, the compliance and the team. This is a hands-on role. You'll be on site regularly, you'll make the calls and you'll hold people to them.

Key responsibilities

- Own the commercials: weekly cost forecasting, monthly cash flow for sales and cost, variations submitted in the month they arise, and EOTs and delay notices lodged when they're due

- Set projects up properly: start-up documentation, pre-construction RFIs and submittals, action plans, risk assessments and inspection checklists with your Site Manager, and updating the tender program to reflect award date and lead times

- Run procurement with your Contract Administrator: recommending subcontractors, writing scopes that leave no gaps, approving trade packages and working disputes through to resolution

- Keep the program accurate: updated at least fortnightly, weekly internal meetings, external meetings run by you,



and drawing revisions passed on to site and the trades

- Lead on safety and quality: action plans kept current, inspections done, and all incidents escalated internally before anything goes out

- Hand over cleanly: handover records collected throughout the job, not at the end, and projects closed out as close to PC as possible

- Keep the admin tight: site diary closed out daily, emails captured in Premier and timesheets kept accurate

About you

- 8+ years as a Project Manager in commercial or building construction

- A robust commercial head for cost reporting, cash flow and variations

- Solid knowledge of construction contracts, EOTs, delay notices and subcontract administration

- Confidence building and running construction programs

- Working knowledge of WHS, SWMS and quality systems

- Experience with Premier (Procore is handy too)

- The ability to lead a team, delegate well and say things clearly

- Current White Card and driver's licence
