Mineral Mining Services are a privately owned, WA based contract miner. Our clients include small cap gold miners (ASX and privately owned) and a select few tier one non-gold owner operator miners.

The Role
This is a great opportunity for an experienced MEM Superintendent looking for an opportunity to "make their mark" in a high-growth private company.

Working a 2/2 roster FIFO from Perth, the role is a critical part of our team and will report to Maintenance Manager. To be considered for this position, applicants will need their Schedule 26 certification.

Responsibilities:

- Uphold MMS's health, safety, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
- Lead and mentor maintenance teams, focusing on skill development and operational efficiency.
- Optimise the use of mobile plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximise productivity.
- Plan and manage unscheduled maintenance work, ensuring timely resolution of breakdowns.
- Track maintenance activities, ensuring completion aligns with the scheduled plans.
- Manage parts and equipment inventories,



ensuring availability for maintenance needs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and practices.

Skills & Experience

- Extensive Experience: Over three years of experience in leading and managing maintenance operations in an open-pit mining environment.
- Safety and Performance: Demonstrated ability to uphold superior safety standards, maintain high productivity levels, and ensure reliable performance of plant equipment.
- Trade Qualification: Possession of relevant trade certifications.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build solid, collaborative relationships across various departments.
