AMIGA Montessori is opening our brand-new Mount Barker centre in January 2027, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Educators to join our team from the beginning.

About the role As an Educator at AMIGA Montessori Mount Barker, you’ll work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality education and care within thoughtfully prepared learning environments.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Building warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families
- Supporting children’s learning, wellbeing, independence and development
- Creating safe, engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Contributing to observations, planning and documentation
- Working collaboratively with Room Leaders, Educational Leaders and the wider centre team
- Supporting daily routines while respecting each child’s individual needs
- Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming prepared environment
- Following all child safety, regulatory and organisational policies and procedures
- Contributing positively to the culture of our new Mount Barker centre





You don’t need previous Montessori experience to join us. We’ll support you to develop your understanding of the Montessori approach through training, mentoring and hands-on learning.
About you We’d love to hear from you if you:

- Hold, or are working towards, a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Have a genuine passion for working with children
- Understand the importance of child safety and creating environments where children feel protected, heard and respected
- Are reliable, positive and enjoy being part of a team
- Communicate warmly and professionally with children, families and colleagues
- Are open to learning and developing your practice
- Hold or are willing to obtain the required South Australian clearances and compliance documentation for the role
